Jim's Fairmont is
powered by a solid cammed mid 70s 460 with late model 460 heads sporting big
valves and major amounts of porting. The atmosphere enters the D-1 ProCharger
and is chilled in one of Jim's Coolers before being mixed with 93 octane unleaded
in the Holley 850DP and routed to the heads thru a Weiand Stelth intake. Exhaust
gases exit the Big Block thru a set of 2" primairy custom headers.

A front view shows
the intercooler location and routing of the plumbing on Jim's car.

The remainder of
this car also received equal amounts of attention, the front K frame has been
extensively modified to allow a "factory fit" to the Blown 460, the
rear has been upgraded to a 9" with minitubs and a custom 4 link suspension
that has been engineered and built by Jim. So far the car is still in the test
phase, but Jim's expecting big things from the car.....I could only agree with
him.

Jim and Rory
in the ProCharged Fairmont on the Dyno
Jim has been
making some progress on the dyno lately in preparation for the up coming racing
season, so far he's reached over 500 RWHP with plenty more on the way.
