SCTC Flow Data
These
are cast iron GT-40s with manley 1.84/1.54 valves and a light port job. I did
not touch the seats (a fresh 4-5 angles would help but I don't really feel the
need right now), but did freshen the valve seat face on the exhaust valves.
The port work on these heads was done by me about 4 years ago, and these heads
have been on an EFI 351W in an 89 LX since then.
Next winter I will either
upgrade to 1.94/1.60 valves and do some more port work,
or if the budget allows,
I will install a set of lighter Al cylinder heads.
Testing was performed
on a Super Flow bench at a test pressure of 28" H2O and a 1/4" clay
radius was used on the
intake port entrance.
